The Good Days Fund Inc. is a nonprofit born from a simple but powerful belief — that every child deserves a chance for a good day. We work alongside local partners in rural Colombia to understand what each community's children truly need, and then we deliver it. Our work centers on four pillars: education, basic necessities, health, and empowerment.
In Colombia's rural villages, children carry burdens no child should bear — extreme poverty, malnutrition, discrimination, and shrinking access to the natural world their communities depend on. And yet, in the faces of these children, there is resilience. There is hunger to learn, to grow, to dream. We exist to meet that hunger with action.
OUR MISSION is to provide children with the resources they need to thrive, so that they can lead bright and prosperous futures.
OUR GOAL is to reach deeper into Colombia's most underserved communities, growing our village partnerships so that more children can grow up healthy, educated, and full of hope. Every village we reach is another generation whose story changes.
OUR VISION is to create a world where a child's potential is never limited by the circumstances of their birth. Every child deserves a chance for a good day. That is the world we are building, one child, one community, one good day at a time.

For a child who has never had enough, even the smallest gift can feel like the whole world.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors, 63 children from the small village of Media Sombra, Colombia, experienced something they will never forget. They received brand-new shoes — many for the first time. They traveled to the ocean, stood at its edge, and felt the wonder of something vast and magnificent that they had only ever imagined. They sat together and shared a warm, nourishing meal, surrounded by laughter and the kind of joy that fills a room without asking permission.
But this day was about so much more than shoes, or the sea, or a meal. It was about what every child deserves and so rarely gets — the freedom to simply be a child. To be curious. To be amazed. To be unburdened, even if just for one beautiful day.
These children carry so much. On this day, they put it down. And for everyone who made it possible — thank you. You didn't just give them things.
You gave them a good day. And good days change lives.

A gift is never just a gift. It is proof that someone, somewhere, thought of them. That they matter. That they are seen.
The holiday season carries a spirit unlike any other — a collective turning of hearts toward those who have less, a reminder that generosity is one of the most human things we can offer one another. And this year, that spirit showed up in a powerful way for the children of Media Sombra, Colombia.
Thanks to the extraordinary kindness of our donors, more than 250+ children experienced a day that many of us take for granted — and that they will carry with them forever. Every child received a brand-new outfit, a warm and nourishing meal, and the gift of simply being a kid — playing, laughing, and celebrating without a care in the world. For their families, there was something equally precious: the rare and beautiful relief of knowing that today, everyone was fed. Today, everyone was okay.
No worry. No hunger. No weight.
Just joy. Just family. Just a good day.
This is what your generosity makes possible — not just a holiday moment, but a memory etched into the hearts of children who needed it most. You reached across the distance and reminded 256 kids that they are loved by people they have never met.
That is the true spirit of the season. And it is a gift that no one can ever take away.
